Balgarene is a quiet but very popular village, south of Lovech just off main road E772 connecting Sofia with Varna. The village is engulfed by ancient forests and the gentle hills of lower part of the Balkan Mountain range. The place is 3 km from the River Osam which is gathering strength north towards the mighty Danube.
In the centre of this charming village a recently restored traditional house is offered for sale. There are many things to do and see in the area: within 30 km there are 5 working monasteries, Beklemeto ski resort is 30 km south and the hot mineral bath in Shipkovo and Chiflka are only 22 km and 35 km respectfully.
